Data / Spreadsheet Design
I am in general a game designer and programmer, but my specialty is data management.
I make csv databases to store game data for ease of access and alteration. Very little "content" is hard-coded.
I automate the color-coding and cell descriptions to make spreadsheets readable/useful for non-programmers.
Card game databases even have an abstracted language of in-game functions called directly from the data,
allowing non-programmer designers to create functional content directly from the spreadsheets.
Example: The function of heal(_amt) is hardcoded into the engine, and a designer just has to enter "heal 3" into the cell,
without worrying about its backend implementation.
